Copyright & Intellectual Property
Information about intellectual property, ownership of GoCrackExam materials, and how rights holders can report concerns.
01 Introduction
GoCrackExam respects intellectual property rights and expects users of the Service to do the same.
This Copyright & Intellectual Property Policy explains how intellectual property associated with GoCrackExam is treated, the limitations that apply to the use of our materials, and how rights holders can notify us of potential infringement.
This policy applies to the GoCrackExam website, applications, educational materials, software, databases, branding, and related services (collectively, the "Service").
02 Our Content
Unless otherwise identified, original materials created for GoCrackExam may include educational text, explanations, examples, practice questions, answer explanations, learning objectives, summaries, illustrations, software, interface elements, databases, logos, graphics, page designs, and other materials.
Such materials are owned by GoCrackExam or are used under appropriate rights or licences.
Nothing in your use of the Service transfers ownership of GoCrackExam's intellectual property to you.
03 Third-Party Content
The Service may refer to, display, or otherwise interact with materials, names, trademarks, examination terminology, or other intellectual property belonging to third parties.
Third-party materials remain the property of their respective owners. The presence of a third-party name, mark, reference, or other material on GoCrackExam does not by itself indicate that the third party sponsors, endorses, or is affiliated with GoCrackExam.
Where we use third-party materials under a licence or other authorization, such use remains subject to the applicable rights and restrictions.
04 Trademarks
GoCrackExam and its associated names, logos, visual identity, and other branding elements may constitute trademarks or protected intellectual property of GoCrackExam or its licensors.
Third-party trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.
You may not use GoCrackExam branding or third-party trademarks in a way that suggests sponsorship, endorsement, affiliation, or authorization where none exists.
05 CFA Institute
GoCrackExam is an independent educational platform and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or otherwise associated with CFA Institute.
CFA®, CFA® Program, Chartered Financial Analyst®, and related names, marks, and designations are trademarks owned by CFA Institute.
GoCrackExam does not represent that its educational materials are official CFA Institute materials.
06 User-Submitted Content
If the Service allows users to submit, post, upload, or otherwise provide content, users remain responsible for ensuring that they have the necessary rights to provide that content.
You must not submit material that infringes another person's copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other intellectual property rights.
Where necessary to operate the Service, you grant GoCrackExam the limited rights required to store, process, display, and otherwise handle submitted content in accordance with your use of the Service and our applicable policies.
07 Permitted Use
Subject to these Terms and any applicable subscription or access restrictions, you may access and use GoCrackExam materials for your own personal, non-commercial educational purposes.
Any additional use requires appropriate authorization from GoCrackExam or the applicable rights holder.
08 Prohibited Use
Unless expressly permitted by GoCrackExam or applicable law, you must not:
- Reproduce substantial portions of GoCrackExam materials.
- Republish or redistribute GoCrackExam educational content.
- Sell, sublicense, or commercially exploit GoCrackExam materials.
- Systematically copy or extract content from the Service.
- Use automated systems to scrape or harvest substantial portions of the Service.
- Remove or alter copyright, trademark, attribution, or other proprietary notices.
- Use GoCrackExam materials to create a competing content library or substantially similar commercial service.
These restrictions do not limit rights that cannot lawfully be restricted under applicable law.
09 Reporting an IP Concern
If you believe that material available through GoCrackExam infringes your copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights, you may contact us with details of the concern.
We take legitimate intellectual property concerns seriously and will review notices in good faith.
Please ensure that you have a genuine basis for believing that the identified material infringes your rights or rights that you are authorized to enforce.
10 What to Include in a Notice
To help us investigate an intellectual property concern, please provide sufficient information for us to understand the issue. Where applicable, this may include:
- Your full name and contact information.
- A description of the intellectual property right you believe has been infringed.
- Information establishing that you own the relevant rights or are authorized to act for the rights holder.
- The specific material or page on GoCrackExam that you believe is infringing.
- The location of the relevant material, such as a URL or other identifying information.
- An explanation of why you believe the material infringes your rights.
- Any additional information that may reasonably assist our investigation.
We may request additional information where necessary to evaluate a notice.
11 Review & Response
After receiving a sufficiently detailed notice, we may review the reported material and the circumstances surrounding the complaint.
Depending on the circumstances, we may restrict access to, remove, modify, or otherwise address the material while the matter is being reviewed.
We may also contact the relevant user or rights holder for additional information.
Submission of a notice does not guarantee that material will be removed or that a particular outcome will result.
12 Counter-Notice
If material has been restricted or removed because of an intellectual property complaint, the affected user may contact us to explain why they believe the action was incorrect.
Where appropriate, we may consider a response or counter-notice and may request information supporting the user's position.
The availability and procedure for any formal counter-notice process may depend on the applicable law and the nature of the intellectual property claim.
13 Repeat Infringement
Where appropriate, GoCrackExam may take additional action against accounts or users that repeatedly infringe intellectual property rights or repeatedly violate this policy.
Such action may include warnings, content restrictions, suspension, or termination of access to the Service.
14 Good-Faith Reporting
Intellectual property notices should be submitted in good faith and should contain accurate information to the best of the reporting party's knowledge.
False, misleading, abusive, or knowingly fraudulent claims may cause harm to users and the Service and may have legal consequences.
GoCrackExam reserves the right to consider the circumstances surrounding repeated or abusive complaints when determining how to respond.
